In this Tip we will explain how to download files on Ubuntu hide. With a keyboard shortcuts you can use the invisible files again later in the show:

Hidden files on Ubuntu: point, and shortcut

  1. Click with the right mouse button on the file you want to hide.
  2. In the opened menu select "Rename".
  3. Before the name of the file you put the point and save the Changes with [Enter].
  4. Now the folder is still marked. Now press at the same time, the key combination [Ctrl] + [H].
  5. The file is now hidden. Repeat the first three steps with all the data, you want to hide. With the same keyboard shortcut to hide your files again.
