In Windows, 8.1 the Name of your computer to change, you do not need to be a professional. We will show you how to do it in a jiffy.

New Computer name in Windows 8.1 setting

Computer name change To the name of your computer in Windows 8.1 to change, you will need administrator rights. Make sure that the Account you are logged in, has these rights.

Open the "Advanced system settings". These can be found by clicking the mouse in the right lower corner and move in the Flyout menu on the magnifying glass icon.
In the search box enter "Advanced system settings" and leave you in "settings". Click on it, you may still after your administrator password.
In the new window select the tab "computer name".
Click on the "change"Button, you can enter the new name enter and confirm.
In order for the Change to take effect, the Computer must be restarted.
