OpenOffice: creating charts

Also in OpenOffice, you can create charts and so your documents can be better represented. We will show you how to do this.

OpenOffice chart OpenOffice-create a chart Before a chart in OpenOffice to create, you must fill it with data. Consider first what you want to display:

1. Wear you to the top in the first line of your categories such as products. Each product will then be given their own chart-bar.
2. In the left column, then, for example, periods of time. In the example months selected. The periods can be found later on the x-axis.
3. Then, enter the appropriate values for the product per month.

1. Select your entire table. This also includes the specified categories such as products and periods of time.
2. Click the chart icon in the toolbar (see the photo).
3. It opens a new window. Here you select the type of chart (column, bar, pie, area, line).
4. Optionally, you can here your "chart elements" also the title or legend completely hide.
5. Confirm your selection with the "finish"button. The chart will now appear in your document. With the mouse you can move freely.
