Completely offline at WhatsApp? Unfortunately, many detours
It is not possible, with WhatsApp fully to go offline. Basically, this is also not the purpose of the application, because you as an SMS replacement is used. For comparison: SMS-messages will ever be delivered. With a few tricks you can, however, a state, an Offline mode that is very close.
- Open WhatsApp and navigate to the settings. Here you will find the sub-item "Account". Here select the "privacy". Under "Last
- online" you can now use the Option "no one" specify other WhatsApp users do not see, when was the last time you were online.
- Switch back to the main page of the settings back and select the "notifications". Now select the Option "notification". Instead of a different ringing tone to select "Mute", so that incoming Whatsapp messages in the future, no more sound is played.
- If your phone options are supported, you can pop-up notifications, and the light off. The two options are also in the menu "notifications". Although they are not in Whatsapp is actually offline, but not the annoying notifications.
