Calibre-library

Your personal Ebook library, you can Calibre easily backup. In this Tip, we show you how to do this.

Step 1: Calibre-library of Ebooks secure

2. Start the program Calibre on your computer.
3. Click in the menu bar, click the name of your library. In most cases the "Calibre Library".
4. Select the point "Bibliiothek change/create new".
5. In the next dialog window you will see the path in which your library is located.
6. Open an Explorer window and navigate to the folder.
7. You can now have the entire folder "Calibre Library" copy and in a different place back up. Best to move the data to a Backup disk or a USB Stick.

Calibre-to restore library

Now you can secure library to another PC or to restore it:

1. Move the backed up folder on your Computer. Best to choose the Desktop or the documents folder.
2. Now you can open Calibre and click again in the menu bar, click the name of your library.
3. Select the item "library change/create new".
4. Put a tick in "To another, already existing library to another place to go".
5. Select the point "New place" the backed up folder.
6. With a click on "OK" invites Calibre of the library from the new folder, and you have the backup successfully restored.
