Extensions in Firefox, the so-called "Add-Ons"that are useful, can the Browser but also interfere. Delete the small programs as easy as they have been installed. How it works and how your Browser therefore clean, and hold fast, you will learn in this Tip.
Add-ons in Firefox, delete, or disable
- Add-on menu in Firefox Add-on menu in Firefox
- In the settings menu for the extensions can be found by clicking on the top left of the orange Button "Firefox," and then click "Add-Ons" button. Alternatively, you can use the key combination [Ctrl]+[shift]+[A].
- Go to "extensions". Here you can see all of your currently installed Add-Ons to your Firefox browser.
- Behind each extension, there are three Buttons: "settings", "Disable", and "Remove".
- If "Disable" is selected, the Add-On is turned off. You can always re-enable it.
- If you "Remove" is selected, the extension is actually uninstalled and will disappear completely from your Browser. Of course, you can still later re-install.
- Restart your Browser, if you have done all the settings.
