With little effort, you can have two or more layers in Photoshop to connect. How does this work, we show you in this best practice guide.

Layer in Photoshop

  1. Select in the layers panel, all of the layers that you want to connect. By several levels to select, hold down the [Ctrl] key.
  2. Click on the chain icon at the bottom of the layers panel.
  3. Once the levels are connected, the chain icon is also behind the layer name in the list.
  4. To get the connection again, select one of the layers, and click the chain icon.
