by Using this type of authentication, you will receive when you Login to a new device or Browser a Code by SMS to be sent to confirm your identity. So your account is protected even if someone has your password cracking.
  1. Open the Linkedin website and log in to your Account.
  2. Click at the top right of your profile image and select in the menu the item "privacy & settings".
  3. Then at the bottom left of the category "account" and select the Option "manage security settings".
  4. Under the Heading "Two-stage Review for the login" go to "Enable".
  5. Enter your mobile phone number and confirm with the Button "Code send".
  6. Then tap the received Code in the Browser and click on "Code review". The Two-factor authentication is now enabled.
